Impact Hubs
Impact Hubs are innovative co-working institutions supporting a growing community of international social entrepreneurs. All Impact Hubs provide a mix of spaces - meeting, conference, events and exhibition spaces, cafe bar and drop-in workspace - as well as an ‘ecosystem’ for social entrepreneurs which include educational, finance and business support, and peer-to- peer exchange.
00 have been active developers of Impacts Hubs in the UK including Impact Hubs Brixton, Islington, Birmingham, Westminster and Kings Cross. 00’s involvement ranges from space and business model designer (King’s Cross) to co-founder/shareholder (Birmingham and Westminster) to operator (Islington and Brixton).
We have a strategic aim to build and scale this powerful peer network into an eco-system for social entrepreneurs and our role in each hub has ranged from being co-founders and architectural designers at Impact Hub Brixton working with Lambeth Council on a co-operative council model, similar to our joint venture with Westminster Council at Impact Hub Westminster; to re-founders and operational managers of HUB Islington, the original HUB in the network where our focus has increasingly been on developing a Youth Academy for young entrepreneurs; our role as strategic advisors to the local founding team at HUB Birmingham, supporting their development with our experience in business development, space design and operations; to project development and architects for Impact Hub Kings Cross.
