00 were appointed by Bow Arts Trust (funded by London Regeneration Fund and Peabody Trust) to create a major Culture Hub in London, regenerating the previously derelict but iconic Lakeside Centre which sits on the Southmere Lake.
The Centre provides affordable workspace for artists, designers and makers, a kitchen incubator, Café area, roof garden, popup market stalls, a nursery and facilities to support existing boating activities on the lake. There are 2 residential units on the 1st floor for Caretaker and Artist in Residence. Navigation, landscaping and visual identity is key to the regeneration and success of the building.
