Impact Hub Westminster
Based in 1,200m2 of hosted space in central London, Hub Westminster grew out of a 00 feasibility study for Westminster Council’s City Planning Department into models for maximising the potential of future S106b agreement opportunities to generate self-sustaining affordable workspace, part of the Council’s Economic Development Strategy 2008-2011 to encourage the development of more affordable business space in Westminster. Valuable lessons have been derived about joint ventures with Local Authorities, CIC governance structures, state aid, procurement and business rates, amongst others.
